Single-game tickets for Northern Kentucky University's men's and women's basketball teams are now on sale, and the first season in the Horizon League will include plenty of fun for the community! The 2015-16 Norse basketball season tips off at BB&T Arena on Saturday, Nov. 7, with a men's exhibition game versus Ohio Northern, while the women's squad opens up at home with Indiana State on Nov. 15. Norse fans may now purchase home single-game tickets for $12 for men's contests and $5 for women's games. Youth tickets are $7 and $4, respectively.
 
As excitement builds around a new league, local product and new men's head coach John Brannen, and the Norse women's team making their third-consecutive Division I postseason appearance, there are several incentives for fans to make it to games. Beginning with a microfiber towel featuring NKU's new court design on Nov. 21, fans will have the opportunity to pick up six different exclusive giveaway items throughout the season.
 
On Dec. 2, the first 500 fans attending the highly-anticipated matchup between Dawn Plitzuweit's women's team and Kentucky will receive #NorseUp foam fingers, and caps will go to the first 1,000 through the doors on December 19. Families with kids should circle their calendars for Jan. 9 for Kids' Day, where the first 500 fans will receive exclusive Victor E. Viking winter hats, and several of Victor's friends will play basketball on the floor at halftime of the men's basketball matchup with Wright State. The giveaways continue with 3'x5' Norse logo flags for the first 1,000 fans on Homecoming (Feb. 6), and a yet to be announced pink giveaway on Feb. 13 for the women's Play4Kay game for breast cancer awareness.
 
From $1 beverage nights to several entertaining halftime performers, BB&T Arena will be an entertaining atmosphere this winter.
