ABOUT WRIGHT STATE: The Raiders are still seeking their first Horizon League win after dropping matches at Green Bay and Milwaukee over the weekend. Katie Klusman has led the offensive effort for the Raiders, averaging 4.28 kills per set to rank second among Horizon League attackers. In the back row, Jessie Thorton has averaged 4.33 digs per set, ranking fourth in the League.

LAST TIME OUT: The Norse split the weekend action against Horizon League foes, winning a five-set thriller at Green Bay on Friday before falling short in straight sets to Milwaukee. Keely Creamer picked up 26 kills to lead the offense, while Mel Stewart's 36 digs set the defensive pace.

TURNER TURNING IT UP: Freshman outside hitter Kelly Turner has found herself filling in as a middle hitter over the last several weeks and had a solid effort last weekend in Wisconsin. Turner posted 21 kills and hit at a team-best .326 clip while posting three blocks as well. Turner has seen action in 32 sets so far this season and ranks fifth on the team with 1.52 kills per set.

FIGHT TO THE END: NKU'S 3-2 win over Green Bay on Friday was the team's second five-set victory of the year, having earlier this season defeated SIU Edwardsville in five sets. The Norse have held their opponents to a negative hitting percentage during the deciding set this season. Over the last two seasons, NKU has posted a 7-1 record in five-set matches.

NIFTY FIFTY: Friday's contest marked the seventh time this season that NKU has posted 50 or more kills as a team in the match, as the Norse put down 64 kills against Green Bay. NKU is 6-1 in contests this year when they reach the half-century mark for kills, with the lone loss coming at home against Valparaiso on Sept. 25.

DOUBLE DOUBLE-DOUBLE: The victory on Friday also saw NKU get two double-doubles on the evening, as Taylor Snyder got her fifth of the season and 38th of her career, dishing out 46 assists while picking up 16 digs. Meanwhile, Jayden Julian got her second double-double in as many weeks, marking 16 for her career, when she got 12 kills and 12 digs in the same match. All told, NKU has seen eight double doubles this season.

UP NEXT: The Norse come home this weekend to open a three-match Horizon League home stand, welcoming Youngstown State for a 7 p.m. first serve in Regents Hall. Fans can follow the action on Twitter by following @NKUNorseGameDay, or watch the action live on ESPN3.
