HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. – The Northern Kentucky women's basketball team fell to Horizon League leader IUPUI on Friday evening by a final score of 71-35. IUPUI moves to 14-4 overall and 6-1 in the Horizon League. The Norse drop to 4-14 and 2-5 in League play.

STAT LEADERS

• IUPUI had three players in double figures, led by Danielle Lawrence with 19 points.
• Molly Glick and Kailey Coffey each had seven points and five rebounds for the Norse

FIRST HALF SUMMARY

• IUPUI had an 18-4 lead after the first quarter and took a 37-17 lead into halftime. The Jaguars used an 11-0 run in the first quarter and a 9-0 run in the second quarter to build their lead.
• The Norse couldn't get their shots to fall in the first half, as the team went 6-of-26 (23.1%) on field goals.
• IUPUI shot 16-of-28 (57.1%) from the floor during the first half, but just 3-of-10 (30.0%) from the 3-point line.
• Glick and Coffey each had five points in the half for NKU.

SECOND HALF SUMMARY

• The Jaguars started the third quarter on a 17-0 run. 
• IUPUI shot 13-of-30 (43.3%) from the floor in the half.
• NKU went 6-of-26 (23.1%) on field goals during the half.
• The Norse outscored IUPUI 16-15 in the fourth quarter.

NORSE NOTES

• The Norse forced 14 turnovers, thanks in part to six steals.
• IUPUI finished the game shooting 29-of-58 (50.0%) from the floor.
