HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. – Norse fans looking to purchase tickets for the Northern Kentucky men's basketball team's contest at Cincinnati on Tuesday, Dec. 4, can purchase tickets through
GoBearcats.com/tickets or by calling 1-877-CATS-TIX beginning Monday, Oct. 29.
Demand for the tickets is expected to be high and fans are encouraged to purchase their tickets early.
The NKU Athletics department will have a small allotment of tickets for Go Norse Fund supporters. An email communication to donors regarding the available allotment will be sent out from the Athletics Development Office within the next week.
NKU is coming off of back-to-back 20-win seasons for the first time in the Division I era. Local standout
Drew McDonald, a two-time first-team All-Horizon League performer and the league's preseason player of the year each of the past two seasons, returns to lead the Norse.
Sophomore
Jalen Tate earned preseason second team honors after earning a spot on the all-freshman and all-defensive teams a year ago. And, graduate transfer
Zaynah Robinson was picked by Mid-Major Madness to be an all-league second team performer in its preseason prognostications.
Cincinnati is opening its recently renovated Fifth Third Arena, which led to the Bearcats playing in NKU's BB&T Arena last season. UC has posted eight-straight 20-win campaigns and reached the NCAA Tournament each of those years.
Tickets are also still on sale for Norse home games. Mini plans and season tickets can be purchased through
Ticketmaster, or by contacting
Micki Ford, Coordinator of Athletics Ticketing, at (859) 572-7848 or
fordm10@nku.edu. Single-game tickets are also available through
Ticketmaster. Tickets are $14 for adults and $9 for youth ages 3-17.
