DAYTON, Ohio – The Northern Kentucky University women's soccer team picked up point with a 0-0 draw at Wright State. The Norse were forced to play with 10 players beginning in the 58
th minute. NKU is 6-3-1 overall and 2-0-1 in league play. The Raiders are now 3-5-2 and 2-0-1 in the Horizon League.

BETWEEN THE POSTS
- Emily Lohmann and the Norse defense earned their fifth shutout of the season. Lohmann played all 110 minutes in the net, and she made two saves.
FIRST HALF SUMMARY
- Samantha Duwel's shot was saved by the Wright State goalkeeper in the fifth minute.
- Lohmann was forced to make a save in the 14th minute on a shot by WSU's Naomie Guerra.

- Later in the 58th minute, the Norse were forced to play with 10 players after a red card was issued.
- Mills nearly scored for NKU in the 69th minute. A cross was played into the box, and Mills headed it toward the net. The Wright State goalkeeper tipped the ball off of the crossbar, and the ball bounced back into play. However, a defender for the Raiders was able to clear the ball out of the box.
- Lohmann stopped a shot from WSU's Sydni Callahan in the 72nd minute.
- Ivins was credited with a shot on goal in the 75th minute, but her attempt was saved.
- In the 82nd minute, WSU's Jordyne Helinski fired a shot, but the ball went just over the crossbar.
OVERTIME SUMMARY
- Perkins fired a shot for NKU in the 96th minute, but the attempt was right at the Raiders' goalkeeper.
- In the 102nd minute, Soltes put her header on frame, but the WSU goalkeeper stopped the shot.
- The Norse defense was credited with a team save in the 109th minute to prevent WSU's Mattie Cutts from scoring.
MATCH NOTES
- NKU had a 17-12 shot advantage in the match, which included an 8-3 advantage in shots on goal.
- The Norse also recorded eight corner kicks, compared to seven for the Raiders.
- Wright State was whistled for offside three times, and NKU got called once for offside.
- Lohmann's shutout was her fifth of the season. She ranked 47th in the nation in that category coming into the match.
