HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. – Northern Kentucky's Drew McDonald is one of 20 players selected to compete in the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Reese's College All-Star Game.
 
The game will be held as part of Reese's Final Four Friday surrounding the NCAA Men's Final Four in Minneapolis. Tip-off is slated for 3:30 p.m., on April 5, and will be contested on the Final Four court inside US Bank Stadium. CBS Sports Network will air the game, and live stats will be available at http://nabc.statbroadcast.com/.
 
McDonald has also been chosen to represent the Horizon League in the Dos Equis 3x3U Championship. The 3-on-3 event is also set to begin on April 5 and more information can be found at www.3x3uhoops.com.
 
The native of Cold Spring, Kentucky, averaged 18.7 points and 9.4 rebounds per game during a senior season in which he led Northern Kentucky to both the Horizon League Regular-Season and Tournament Championships, culminating in NKU's second appearance in the NCAA Tournament in the last three years.
 
McDonald is NKU's all-time leader in scoring (2,066 points), rebounds (1,081) and games played (131). He is one of five active players in DI basketball with at least 2,000 points and 1,000 rebounds in their career. Fellow all-star game participant John Konchar (Purdue Fort Wayne) joins McDonald on that list.
