HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. – Season tickets for the 2019-20 Northern Kentucky men's basketball campaign are now on sale to the general public. The Norse will hold 15 regular-season games, along with one exhibition, at BB&T Arena this year.
NKU hosts six nonconference contests - including matchups with regional foe Eastern Kentucky and a showdown with the MVC's Illinois State – and a preseason exhibition game. Texas Southern, which is coming off of a 24-14 season that included road wins at Baylor, Oregon and Texas A&M, also makes a visit to BB&T Arena. Additionally, the Norse host all nine Horizon League teams this season, including Wright State, Oakland, UIC, Green Bay and Detroit Mercy.
Northern Kentucky offers five options for season tickets, ranging in price from $91 for youth (13-17 years old) to $172 for adults, which equates to less than $11 per game per ticket. NKU faculty and staff can purchase tickets for $154. Two options exist for alumni, with season tickets running $136 for first time alumni buyers and $100 for new alumni (2017-19 graduates).
New season ticket holders can purchase seats online at
Norsetickets.com or by calling

Norse Kids Club Membership, which is $30 for youth 12-and-under, includes admission to men's basketball.
The Norse return four starters and three double-figure scorers off of last season's squad, which posted a third-straight 20-win campaign and included a share of the Horizon League regular-season title, league tournament title and the program's second trip to the NCAA Tournament in the last three years.
Tyler Sharpe was second on the team in scoring at 14.4 ppg last season behind 38.3 percent 3-point shooting. Sharpe was electric during the team's trip to the Virgin Islands in early August, burying 53 percent of his field-goal attempts and 42 percent of his threes en route to averaging 27.3 ppg.
Northern Kentucky also return double-digit scorers
Jalen Tate and
Dantez Walton, who averaged 13.7 and 11.1 ppg, respectively. Tate added 4.1 assists per game, while Walton nabbed 5.5 rebounds an outing.
Trevon Faulkner, who played all 35 games and earned 28 starts, shot 58 percent and averaged 4.7 points, while drawing each opponent's top perimeter player on defense.
NKU will also feature
Darrin Horn patrolling the sidelines as head coach this season. Horn holds a 171-112 career record in nine combined seasons as a head coach at Western Kentucky, his alma mater, and South Carolina.
