HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. – Northern Kentucky's men's tennis returns home after a series of away matches on Saturday, February 29. First serve is set for 4:30 p.m. at Five Seasons Sports Club in Crestview Hills, Kentucky.

The Norse are coming off a 6-1 loss to nearby rival Dayton last weekend. The Norse fought long and hard, sending all but the No. 6 singles match into three sets. NKU's lone point came from wins on the first and third doubles courts. Andrew Niehaus and Jorge Rodriguez Agudo took down Steven Karl and Jayan Jhattu, 6-2, in No. 3 doubles before Emilien Burnel and Nathan Schwartz clinched the point with a 6-4 win over Connor Bruce and Joe DeMarco in the top flight.

The Knights hold a 4-1 spring record in their final season as a Division II institution. Bellarmine recorded its first loss of the season on Sunday, falling short, 5-2, to the University of Alabama -Huntsville. Emil Bjoerlykke Berglund leads the Knights in singles play, posting wins in all five of his matches, while also recording only one loss on the doubles court this season.

The Norse are looking to extend their streak of wins against the Knights to five. The last time the two teams met up was on March 24, 2012, when NKU came out victorious, 8-1.
