INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Horizon League announced its men's tennis All-League teams and award winners on Thursday, with Northern Kentucky University Norse men's tennis senior
Emilio Bravo earning both the Herb Foster Sportsmanship Award and All-League Second Team honors.
"I am extremely proud of Emilio on his outstanding senior year," said head coach
Brian Nester. "It's quite an honor to receive both All-League honors and the Herb Foster Sportsmanship Award."
In his 2026 campaign, Bravo led the Norse in singles wins, posting an 8-7 record. All of Bravo's matches came in first singles as well, and he was the only Norse to post a winning record on the season, impressively doing so against top competition. Bravo started out hot this season, winning five of his first six matches, including going on a four-match singles win streak in matches against Xavier, St. Bonaventure, Southern Indiana, and Drake. Bravo also earned a pair of Horizon League singles victories, over Youngstown State's Matteo Ceradelli and IU Indy's Konner Gunwall. In doubles play, Bravo competed with partner
Jackson Poulos in every match, as the pair finished 7-6 on the season, with most matches coming in the second slot. The pair also earned a pair of Horizon League wins, earning doubles victories over Cleveland State and Youngstown State.
