Carmel, Ind. - Northern Kentucky men's and women's cross country wrapped up their season at the Horizon League Championships on Saturday afternoon. The women finished seventh with 179 points and the men's team finished eighth with 233 points.

Women's results (6k)

• The fastest runner for the women's team was Maddie Frey, finishing with a time of 23:53.1. 

• Following Frey was Sophia DeLisio (24:03.5), followed by Megan Cole, finishing with a time of 24:45.9. 

• NKU finished in seventh place with 179 points. Milwaukee won the championship race with 47 points.

Men's results (8k)

• Kyle Mastin extends his streak for the top runner for the Norse, finishing sixth overall with a time of 25:55.6.

• Nicholas Lake was the next Norse to finish, with a time of 27:46.1 and Nicholas Lee followed, finishing with a time of 28:08.3. 

• NKU finished in eighth place, picking up 233 points. IUPUI won the 8k championship with 30 points.
