Game Recap: Women's Soccer |

@NKUNorseWSOC survives and advances with overtime win over PFW

HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. – The No. 3-seeded Northern Kentucky women's soccer team advanced to the Horizon League Tournament semifinals with a 1-0 overtime win over No. 6-seeded Purdue Fort Wayne. The Norse improve to 10-7-2 on the year, while the Mastodons drop to 5-8-6 overall.

Sheehan's Statement
"We really knew honestly it was probably going to be a one-goal game, and we just had to make sure our players were mentality and physically prepared. Because sometimes if you think, we scored six goals the first time, it's going to be the same way,  and we knew that was not going to be the case. We've had some injuries and so we've had some players in and out of the lineup, and it was good to get a group in there to get a rhythm defensively."
