TURNING POINT

FIRST HALF SUMMARY

·       The three-ball was falling early and often for the Norse in the first half. NKU converted 9-of-18 in the stanza, a whopping 50 percent.

·       Langdon kick-started it and Eleeda quickly jumped in. The Norse received 14 points from Langdon in the half, including a 3-for-3 showing from 3-point territory. Eleeda made 4-of-5 long range attempts and had 12 points.

·       Warrick and Faulkner were the catalysts of the offense, dishing six and four assists, respectively.

·       Milwaukee's shooting was equally impressive. The Panthers converted 56 percent (5-of-9) from deep and were led by DeAndre Gholston's 19 points in the half.

SECOND HALF SUMMARY

·       Northern Kentucky continued its three-point barrage to open the second half, connecting on another three treys in the first 1:44 of the half to pull ahead 52-43 and force Milwaukee to call a timeout. Warrick, Eleeda and Faulkner hit the shots in order.

·       Milwaukee answered with eight-straight points to cut the margin to one with 14:48 remaining.

·       However, the Norse responded to the tune of a 20-5 run over the next six minutes and never led by less than double-digits.
