@NKUNorseTennis looks to start 2-0 for first home matchup of the season

Highland Heights, Ky. – After a shortened weekend due to a postponement with Thomas More, the men's tennis team looks to remain undefeated when they take on the Charleston Golden Eagles this Saturday at Five Seasons Sports Club in Cincinnati.

The Norse started the season with a 4-3 victory over Bellarmine last weekend with four singles wins to secure the triumph. NKU added a doubles win from Andrew Niehaus and Santiago Casamayor. Niehaus also had an impressive singles victory beating out his opponent 6-1, 6-4.

This Saturday's match is Charleston's first of the season, after a 4-4 record from the 2019-20 season before it was cut short from the COVID-19 pandemic. The last time the two teams competed against each other was nearly 11 years ago, on Oct. 2 2010 with the Norse claiming the victory 7-2 on their home court.
