HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. – Northern Kentucky women's tennis enters Horizon League play, hosting the Milwaukee Panthers Saturday and Sunday. Both matches are set to start at noon at the Lindner Tennis Center at Lunken in Cincinnati.
The Norse finished nonconference play at 3-2 after losing to Cincinnati on February 28, 5-2. Despite the loss,
Elizabeth Rozin dominated her opponent in a pair of matches (6-2, 6-0).
Maria Koo also outplayed her opponent and won, 6-3, 7-6 (7-2).
The Panthers are 7-4 overall in its season, sitting at 0-2 in the Horizon League after a weekend series sweep from Youngstown State on March 13 and 14.
The last matchup between Northern Kentucky and Milwaukee came on April 6, 2019, with the Norse falling to the Panthers, 4-3. Overall Milwaukee leads NKU in the all-time series, 3-1.
