Men’s @NKUTennis takes on IUPUI to start league play

Highland Heights, Ky. – Northern Kentucky's men's tennis will compete against the Jaguars of IUPUI April 3 and 4 in Indianapolis. Both matches are set to start at 2:30 p.m.

NKU is coming off of a tough 7-0 loss against Dayton. Despite the setback, the Norse still have an impressive 4-1 record going into league play. Emilien Burnel was named #HLTennis player of the week after shutting out his Eastern Illinois opponent, helping NKU clinch the 5-2 win.

The Jaguars currently sit at 4-7 after starting league-play against Youngstown State last weekend, falling to the Penguins in both matchups.

In the last meeting between the two teams on March 29, 2019, the Norse fell to the Jaguars, 5-2. In the short-lived dual matchups between the two teams, IUPUI has defeated NKU both times. The Norse and Jaguars tied to finish third in the Horizon League preseason poll.
