CHICAGO – The Northern Kentucky women's soccer team improved to 4-3-2 and 2-0-0 in Horizon League action with a 2-1 victory at UIC on Sunday afternoon. UIC slides to 0-7-1 overall with an 0-2-0 Horizon League mark.
Sheehan's Statement
"UIC has had a great deal of success in recent years in the Horizon League and to earn three points on the road is always a difficult task. We scrapped out the three points with a commitment to defending all over the field and succeeded in picking up our energy level in the second half. We were very good on restarts today and that made a huge difference in the match."
