HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. – Northern Kentucky volleyball found themselves in a grind against Horizon League foe Youngstown State Saturday afternoon, but powered through and picked up the conference win in five sets over the Penguins.

Northern Kentucky (9-11, 7-2 Horizon) won their fourth consecutive match and remained undefeated all-time during the NCAA Division I against Youngstown State (8-12, 2-7 Horizon) inside Regents Hall tonight. NKU remains locked in a tie for second place in the Horizon League at 7-2 with Green Bay. 

The match featured a tight battle between these two programs, as 24 total ties and six lead changes occurred throughout the match. NKU held strong in set number three, winning it 32-30 overall versus the Penguins.
