HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. – Northern Kentucky volleyball picked up their fifth consecutive win tonight, defeating Cleveland State 3-1 inside Regents Hall.
The Norse (10-11, 8-2 Horizon) continued to defend their home successfully with a four-set victory over the Vikings of Cleveland State (8-13, 5-5 Horizon). NKU took advantage of multiple CSU errors in set number one to cruise to a 25-14 set one win. The Vikings answered back with a set two win of their own at 25-20, but Northern Kentucky was not going to let this conference bout get away from them. The Norse remained strong and determined in sets three and four to lock down another Horizon League win and remain in a tie overall for second place in the standings.
