HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. – The Northern Kentucky women's soccer program celebrated its Senior Day and seven graduating student-athletes at NKU Soccer Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
The women's soccer program and Northern Kentucky Athletics department would like to thank

INSIDE THE NORSE BOX SCORE

Lydia Self scored her first goal of the season, and fifth of her career, as she converted a Norse penalty kick in the first half.
- NKU posted three shots on target in the contest, recorded by Self,
Sofia Wilmes and
Emilie Doersching.

Mickayla Kowalski and
Mimi Stines split the game in goal and combined to post 10 saves overall.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Northern Kentucky and Milwaukee played an exciting opening half of play that started off with a bang. The Panthers struck first just 1:22 into the match to jump out to a 1-0 lead.
- NKU answered right back as Self buried her penalty kick to knot things up at 1-1 in the 15th-minute.
- The Panthers were able to respond with just twenty seconds left in the half to take a 2-1 lead into the locker room.
- Right out of the gates in the second, Milwaukee found the back of the net once again to take to push its lead to 3-1.
- Northern Kentucky continued to battle back but wasn't able to cash in on its chances as the Panthers sealed the 3-1 conference victory.

Northern Kentucky hits the road for its second-last match of the season as NKU takes on Green Bay on Saturday, Oct. 22 in a Horizon League contest that kicks off at 12 PM ET from Aldo Santaga Stadium. The conference clash will be broadcast live in front of a national audience on ESPN+.
