INSIDE THE NORSE BOX SCORE
- Lydia Self found the back of the net for the second straight game as she buried a penalty kick for her second goal of the season, and sixth of her career overall.
- Meghan Carl also converted her penalty kick chance for another Norse goal, the first of her collegiate career.
- The Norse turned the pressure up in this one as NKU finished with 22 attempted shots, with 10 of them hitting the target. It was the most attempted shots and shots on goal in a match this season.
- NKU also held a huge lead in corner kicks, as they posted a 9-1 advantage over Green Bay.
- Mickayla Kowalski and Mimi Stines combined for the shutout in goal. Stines led the way with three saves.
- It was the first clean sheet for the Norse since a 3-0 victory over IUPUI back on Sept. 22.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- On a hard play in the box, NKU's Maria Wiefering drew a foul to send Self to the penalty spot at the 30th-minute. Self lined up, found her line and struck the ball into the back of the net as Northern Kentucky jumped out to a 1-0 lead.
- More Norse pressure forced another Green Bay foul in the box. This time Carl converted on the chance as the Norse jumped ahead to a 2-0 lead at the 42nd-minute mark.
- The score would remain, as the two sides entered half with the Norse holding a 2-0 advantage.
- Despite not being able to add to their lead, NKU held a 14-8 edge in attempted shots in the second half. The Norse kept the pressure on throughout the second to close out the 2-0 conference victory.
