@NKUNorseSB’s Oakland series moved up due to weather

HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. – Northern Kentucky's softball series against Oakland has been moved up due to inclement weather concerns this weekend.

NKU's season-opening home stand now begins with a game Thursday, March 10 at 3 p.m. at Frank Ignatius Grein Softball Field. The Norse will host the Golden Grizzlies in a double-header Friday, March 11 at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.

Cold temperatures and the possibility of snow accumulation prompted the Horizon League-approved scheduling changes. NKU originally was set to host Oakland Friday and Saturday.

The Norse start the week with two road games. They play at Saint Louis at 3 p.m. Tuesday and at Bellarmine at 3 p.m. Wednesday before returning home to host Oakland.
