Five Norse earn CSC Academic All-District honors

GREENWOOD, Ind. – College Sports Communicators unveiled its Academic All-District teams for softball on Tuesday, with five Norse earning the distinction. Jena Rhoads, Alicia Flores, Victoria Flores, Brielle DiMemmo, and Brooke Keltner were the five Norse selected, with Rhoads also being selected as a CSC Academic All-America Finalist. 

Senior outfielder Jena Rhoads graduated with a 3.98 GPA while earning her bachelor's in nursing this fall, and is a two-time Horizon League All-Academic selection. Rhoads has made the president's honors list on six occasions with the Norse. In 2026, she was named a Horizon League First Team All-League selection and earned Horizon League Championship Most Valuable Player honors. 

Graduate pitcher Alicia Flores posted a 4.0 GPA while earning her master's in business administration, and made the Horizon League All-Academic team for the third time in her career in 2026. While at Northern Kentucky, she's earned a spot on the president's honors list on five occasions and notched a spot on the Horizon League's All-League second team in her final season. 

Senior outfielder Victoria Flores also put up a 4.0 GPA while earning her master's in business administration. She was named a Horizon League All-Academic Honorable Mention for the first time in her career in 2026 and has made the president's honors list twice while with the Norse. Flores put up career highs in every statistical category in 2026, emerging as NKU's starting left fielder. 

Senior infielder Brielle DiMemmo earned the Academic All-District distinction following a career-best campaign, where she led the Norse in home runs, RBI, triples, and runs scored. DiMemmo earned Horizon League First Team and All-Tournament team honors on the field, and was also named to the Horizon League All-Academic team and graduated this spring with her bachelor's in general business. 

Sophomore catcher/designated player Brooke Keltner earned Academic All-District honors in her first eligible season, as she's earned a pair of spots on the dean's list during her time at NKU. One of NKU's most reliable bats on the season, Keltner posted a .798 OPS and recorded ten extra-base hits in 39 games for the Norse. 

The 2026 Academic All-District Softball teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America program separately recognizes softball honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
