HOWEY-IN-THE-HILLS, Fla. – Northern Kentucky's women's golf team is in eighth place after the opening round of the Horizon League Championship at Mission Inn Resort & Club's Las Colinas course.
 
The Norse are led by senior Delaney Welsh, who carded a four-over 77 for the day. She was followed by sophomore Emmanuelle Hewson, who tied for 16^th with a six-over 79.
