Reed leads Norse with eleventh-place finish at Butler Fall Invitational

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Northern Kentucky University Norse women's golf continued its 2026 fall campaign on Monday & Tuesday, competing in the Butler Fall Invitational at Highland Golf & Country Club in Indianapolis. After a great performance last week at the NKU Fall Invitational, Cammy Reed put together a great showing in Indianapolis, finishing tied for eleventh overall, leading the Norse, who finished 11th overall as a team. As a team, the Norse scored 304-319-297. Northern Kentucky's third round score marked a new program-best, topping NKU's 298 in the Brittany Kelly Classic in 2016.

Reed scored 72-75-71 at the par-70 course, totaling ten birdies, and eagled on the sixth hole in round two. Reed started very strong at one-under through 17 on her first round, before a triple bogey on her final hole of the round moved her up to a 72. She got up to as much as seven-over in round two before bouncing back with an eagle, and finished strong with her best round of the tournament on the final day, totaling four birdies in the third round.

Eva Maley finished tied for 40th, finishing at +19 with overall scores of 79-78-72. After struggling early, Maley also finished strong with her best score on the final day, totaling two birdies on day two and five overall.

Conlee Lindsey finished 58th overall at +26, scoring 77-81-78 over the tournament. Lindsey put in a pair of birdies in round three. Ryliann Bednar finished tied for 68th, going 79-85-76, while Andrea Baumann finished tied for 75th at +33. Lilly Baumann, competing as an individual, finished tied for 77th at +34.
