INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Northern Kentucky University Norse women's golf student-athlete Eva Maley picked up a pair of Horizon League honors on Thursday, earning the Sportsmanship Award and being named to the All-League Second Team. 

"Eva's leadership skills, dedication to the team, and natural talent for the game make her a valuable member of our program," stated NKU assistant Women's Golf coach Melissa Yeazell. "We are proud of her efforts look forward to watching her grow on and off the golf course." 

Maley, a sophomore from Erlanger, Kentucky, competed in 27 rounds across 10 events in the 2025-26 campaign, averaging a 77.9 on the year. Maley posted a second-place finish with a score of ten-over at the 2026 Julie Invitational, one of three top-ten finishes for the sophomore. Maley also finished in fifth place out of 64 individuals at the NKU Women's Spring Fling this March, and notched a sixth-place finish at the 2026 Horizon League Championships, where she helped lead the Norse to a third-place team finish.
