HOWEY-IN-THE-HILLS, Fla. – Emmanuelle Hewson carded a career-best 73 in Monday's second round of the Horizon League Championship and the Norse ascended one rung to seventh place at Mission Inn's Las Colinas Course.
Hewson, who shot a 79 in the first round, trimmed six strokes off her score to propel the Norse in the standings. Her two-day total is six-over 152, which leaves her in a three way tie for third place with IUPUI's Shelby Busker and NKU teammate
Delaney Welsh.
Welsh was tied for 10
th after the first round after carding a 77. She shot a 75 in round two to match Hewson.
