@NKUNorseMBB signs 6-1 guard Xavier Rhodes

HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. - Xavier Rhodes, a 6-foot-1 guard from Florida Southern College will be transferring to Northern Kentucky University to join the Men's Basketball program for the 2022-23 season. 

Rhodes, a graduate transfer from Lee's Summit, Missouri, comes to Highland Heights after spending three seasons with FSC located in Lakeland, Florida. During his final year with the Moccasins, Rhodes finished averaging 14.5 points per game, while leading the team in assists with 143 (5.3 apg).

Rhodes averaged 31.8 minutes per game as he started in 27 total games for the Mocs, and went on to shot 51% from the floor and additionally lead the program in steals with 45 overall. He finished his career with FSC totaling 731 points, 288 assists and 97 steals. 

Prior to Flordia Southern College, he played one season for Northwest Missouri State, who in 2018-19 captured the NCAA Division II Men's Basketball National Championship with an overall record of 38-0. He averaged 2.7 points and 1.1 rebounds per game for the Bearcats and showed great decision-making skills with 30 assists and just 13 turnovers.
 
Rhodes, is Northern Kentucky's third signee to the class of 2022-23 as well.
