@NKUNorseMBB adds 6-3 guard Alahn Sumler

HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. - Alahn Sumler, a 6-foot-3 guard from Buford High School in Georgia, has committed to play basketball at Northern Kentucky University. 

Sumler led Buford to a 6A state championship runner-up finish this past season, averaging 16.3 points per game. He earned all-county honors from the Daily Post and the Gwinnett Tipoff Club, along with earning Georgia Athletic Coaches Association All-State and Atlanta Tipoff Club All-Metro awards.

He additionally posted a field goal percentage of 49.0 and a three-point shooting percentage of 35.0 to pair with 3.8 rebounds per game and 3.6 assists per game. Sumler shot 74 percent from the free throw line, and went on to average 1.4 deflections and 1.3 steals per contest.  

Sumler, is Northern Kentucky's fourth addition to the class of 2022-23 as well. He recently made his announcement of joing the Norse on Twitter.
