DAYTON, Ohio – The Northern Kentucky men's tennis program was in action for the first time this fall, competing in the James O'Connell Memorial Tournament hosted by the University of Dayton Friday. 

MATCH NOTABLES
Friday

• The Norse were led in singles action by the trio of Nick Nienhaus, Trevor Ball and Tom Berry, all who picked up victories for Northern Kentucky during day one of this tournament.
• Nienhaus, making his Northern Kentucky debut, took down Dayton's Connor Bruce at 6-2, 6-2. 
• Ball began the 2022 fall season on the right foot with a win over Matt Demarco of Dayton at 4-6, 6-3, 1-0 (9).
• Berry looked dominate in the opening set against Dayton's Oliver Dune, and sealed the overall victory at 6-0, 7-5.
