ROCHESTER, Mich. – Northern Kentucky volleyball began Horizon League play Friday evening on the road against the Golden Grizzlies of Oakland.
Northern Kentucky (3-9, 1-0 Horizon) battled out three consecutive set wins against Oakland (5-9, 1-1 Horizon) to claim their first conference victory of the 2022 season with set scores of 26-24, 25-15, 25-22. NKU was most impressive during set number two, holding the Golden Grizzlies to a hitting percentage of -0.028 overall and posting a hitting percentage of .244 of their own.
