DAYTON, Ohio – The Northern Kentucky men's tennis program wrapped up the first fall tournament of 2022 as the Norse competed in the James O'Connell Memorial Tournament hosted by the University of Dayton Saturday. 

MATCH NOTABLES
Friday

• The Norse were led in singles action by the trio of Nick Nienhaus, Trevor Ball and Tom Berry, all who picked up victories for Northern Kentucky during day one of this tournament.
• Nienhaus, making his Northern Kentucky debut, took down Dayton's Connor Bruce at 6-2, 6-2. 
• Ball began the 2022 fall season on the right foot with a win over Matt Demarco of Dayton at 4-6, 6-3, 1-0 (9).
• Berry looked dominate in the opening set against Dayton's Oliver Dune, and sealed the overall victory at 6-0, 7-5.
   

Saturday

• Northern Kentucky saw multiple singles wins across the board against both Ball State and Xaiver during day two of this tournament at Dayton. 
• Tom Berry, Emilio Bravo and Santiago Casamayor all earned victories against the Cardinals in singles action. Bravo earned his first win in a Northern Kentucky uniform as well. 
• Against the Musketeers, Bartosz Losiak earned his first win as a member of the Norse, while Casamayor recorded his second singles victory of the day.
