HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. – The Northern Kentucky volleyball program stayed focus on the task at hand this evening inside Regents Hall, and took down the Raiders of Wright State in an intense five-set match that featured the Norse coming out on top.

MATCH NOTES
- Abby Kanakry put the Norse offense on her shoulders in this contest, totaling a match-high 16 kills against the Raiders. Kanakry finished hitting .325 overall on 40 attempts and chipped in three block assists and three digs.
- She currently sits in second all-time in Northern Kentucky Volleyball in career block assists with 323, trailing the all-time leader Jessica Buroker at 338.
- Kanakry also passes Buroker in career kills to be ranked 16th overall in a Norse uniform as the graduate senior now sits at 1,195 total kills, passing Buroker at 1,194.
- Torie Houston turned in yet another double-double performance with 24 assists and 13 digs in the match. Houston increased her season double-double total up to four. She also recorded six service aces against Wright State, a career-high for the senior from Covington, Ky.
- Joy Banks and Ava Hoying each tallied 13 kills apiece in this conference match, with Hoying hitting .333 overall and Banks providing eight digs in the victory.
- Anna Burke totaled 17 digs in the game to help anchor the Norse defense, increasing her career total up to 1,577. Burke now sits in fifth all-time in Northern Kentucky Volleyball history in career digs.
