GREEN BAY, Wis. – The Northern Kentucky volleyball program was dealt heartbreak in Green Bay by the Phoenix Saturday evening as the Norse fell in five-sets inside the Kress Center.

Abby Kanakry posted a career day against Gree Bay, totaling 24 kills on 49 overall swings. Kanakry went on to hit .388 with three blocks and three digs as well.

Torie Houston went on to record a double-double with a team-high 22 assists and 10 digs. This was Houston's third double-double of the season.

Joy Banks also chipped in a double-double tonight with 10 kills and 13 digs for her seventh of the year.

Skyy Smith led NKU with 5.0 total blocks against the Phoenix as
Ivey Stocks and Banks each provided 4.0 total blocks as well.

Northern Kentucky volleyball returns home to Regents Hall next on Friday, October 13 as the Norse will host Horizon League opponent Purdue Fort Wayne.
