HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. – Following his standout career with the Northern Kentucky men's basketball program, fan favorite and team leader
Trevon Faulkner will get his professional career underway after inking with USK Prague Basketball of the National Basketball League, the top men's league in the Czech Republic.
Faulkner left NKU with his name etched all over the record book. The 2022-23 Horizon League Sixth Man of the Year suited up for 158 career games, with 124 starts, both school records, to go with over 4,341 minutes played, another school best.
He is ranked eighth all-time in school history and 49th in Horizon League history with 1,627 career points scored. Faulkner also slots in at eighth all-time in made free throws (324), ninth in steals (163), tenth in made field goals (561), 13th in made three-pointers (181), 18th in rebounds (565) and 21st in assists (234).
To go with his standout individual play, Faulkner was also a key part of three Horizon League Championship and NCAA qualifying teams (2018-19, 2019-20, 2022-23) with the Norse.
The Harrodsburg, Kentucky native was also named Second Team All-League in 2020-21 and was an All-Horizon League Tournament selection in both 2020-21 and 2021-22.
USK Prague Basketball was founded in 1953 in the city of Prague and is a 14-time NBL National Championship team. The program is also the first and only men's basketball club from the Czech Republic to win one of the top European Cup competitions.
