FRANKLIN, Wis. – The Northern Kentucky baseball program salvaged the weekend in Milwaukee by picking up a game three victory against the Panthers with a 3-2 win.

- The Norse opened the scoring in this series finale in the top of the first with Liam McFadden-Ackman putting the ball in play to see Milwaukee make a throwing error and have Vorhees cross the plate. Simpson followed up with a RBI single down the left field line for the 2-0 lead.
- NKU capped off their scoring in the top of the fourth inning as Fisher ripped a single through the left side of the field to bring home Adam Schneider for the 3-0 lead. The Panthers put up a pair of runs in the bottom of the fifth, but the pitching duo of Echeman and Devenport shut down Milwaukee for the rest of the game.
- Devenport threw 2.0 innings today, picking up his first collegiate save of his career. This was his 11th appearance of the season, and saw his earned run average drop to 4.63 as well.
- Echeman joins fellow Norse Carson Werrmann at the top of the Horizon League in total wins on the season with five after Kaden's impressive outing against the Panthers. Echeman also ranks third overall in the conference in total strikeouts with 57 on the year.
- Northern Kentucky now trails the league leading Raiders of Wright State in the Horizon League standings by a game with the Norse sitting at 12-6 and WSU at 13-5 overall.
