HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. – The Northern Kentucky baseball program picked up their second consecutive victory after defeating Horizon League opponent Youngstown State Friday afternoon. The Norse continue to keep pace for first place in the conference with league leader Wright State after taking down the Penguins.

NORSE NOTES
- McFadden-Ackman stayed hot at the dish belting yet another home run, his 12th on the season. This was Liam's second consecutive game with a home run as well, and sits in third in the conference in RBI, OPS and doubles and fourth in home runs.
- Devenport had himself another solid outing on the mound as well, picking up his second consecutive save after coming in and shutting down the Penguins late in this game. Logen earns his fourth save of the season, and currently ranks fourth in the Horizon League in the stat category.
- NKU remains in second place in the Horizon League at 16-9 overall, and are three games back of Wright State and the Norse are two games ahead of the Golden Grizzlies of Oakland as well.
- The Norse have totaled 28 wins on the season now, which is a NKU Baseball program record for most victories in the NCAA Division I era dating back to 2017 (25-33).
