DAYTON, Ohio – The No. 3 seeded Northern Kentucky baseball program advanced in the 2023 Horizon League Tournament with a victory over No. 6 seeded Purdue Fort Wayne Wednesday afternoon. The Norse downed the Mastodons in an elimination game by final score of 6-3 from Nischwitz Stadium.

NORSE NOTES
- McFadden-Ackman added another RBI to his already impressive season total as the All-League first baseman is up to 67 on the year. Liam is now just five RBI away from tying the Northern Kentucky single-season record previously set by Steve Walton in 2002 at 72.
- Devenport added another save to his season total, leading the Norse now with five on the year. Logen is just one save away from entering the top 10 in Norse Baseball history for single-season saves as well.
- The Norse have totaled 30 wins on the season now, which is a NKU Baseball program record for most victories in the NCAA Division I era dating back to 2017 (25-33).

Northern Kentucky Baseball will now face No. 2 seeded Oakland University in the next round of action in the 2023 Horizon League Tournament from Dayton, Ohio at Nischwitz Stadium.
