HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. – The Northern Kentucky men's basketball program will take to the road for a non-conference clash against Washington on Thursday, November 9 inside Alaska Airlines Arena.
The meeting will be the first matchup all-time between the Norse and Huskies in school history.
Northern Kentucky is fresh off a Horizon League Championship and the program's fourth bid to the NCAA Tournament in the past seven years after the Norse posted a 22-13 record overall in 2022-23.
To go with the return of NKU's big three in
Marques Warrick,
Sam Vinson and
Trey Robinson, the Norse went out and added a plethora of talent in both the transfer portal and from the high school ranks for a squad that will be one of the favorites in the Horizon once again this upcoming season.
The group also just returned from a once-in-a-lifetime experience in their 2023 summer tour of Italy. Fans and supporters can
get caught up with all aspects of the trip here, which included a perfect 2-0 record against overseas competition.
The contest is the second game of the season for Washington, a program that went 16-16 a season ago that included a berth in the Pac-12 Tournament.
