HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. – The home opener for the Northern Kentucky men's basketball program has been set as the Norse will host DePauw on Tuesday, November 14 inside the friendly confines of Truist Arena.
The meeting between the Norse and Tigers will be just the second all-time between the two programs, with their only previous match up taking place back on Nov. 17, 1989, an 82-78 NKU win.
Northern Kentucky is fresh off a Horizon League Championship and the program's fourth bid to the NCAA Tournament in the past seven years after the Norse posted a 22-13 record overall in 2022-23. To go with the return of NKU's big three in
Marques Warrick,
Sam Vinson and
Trey Robinson, the Norse went out and added a plethora of talent in both the transfer portal and from the high school ranks for a squad that will be one of the favorites in the Horizon once again this upcoming season.
The Tigers of DePauw posted an 18-9 record in 2022-23, which included a run to the North Coast Athletic Conference semifinals.
The NKU schedule has almost completely taken shape, with just four more home games and an exhibition contest still to announce.
