COLUMBIA, Mo. – The Northern Kentucky women's volleyball program continued play at the 2023 Tiger Invitational in Columbia, Missouri where the Norse faced number three nationally ranked Louisville inside the Hearnes Center.

MATCH NOTES

Abby Kanakry posted a huge match against the nationally ranked Cardinals with 15 total kills on 28 attempts. Kanakry finished the match hitting .393 on the day and added one block and one dig.

Torie Houston and
Katy Yopko guided the Norse offense with 18 assists and 13 assists respectively. Houston posted six digs to add to the NKU defense as well.
- Freshman
Ava Hoying chipped in seven kills versus Louisville on 20 attempts to finish hitting .250 overall.
- Fellow freshman
Ivey Stocks lead the Norse defense with four total blocks and provided four kills in the contest.

Northern Kentucky Volleyball will wrap up the Tiger Invitational tomorrow, Sunday, September 3 from Columbia, Missouri. NKU will take on South Dakota inside the Hearnes Center continues play at the Tiger Invitational tomorrow, Saturday, September 2 as the Norse will take on the No. 3 ranked Cardinals of Louisville. This non-conference in-state rivalry battle will get underway at 12 p.m. (ET) from Columbia, Missouri inside the Hearnes Center.
