DAYTON, Ohio – The Northern Kentucky volleyball program continued road Horizon League play Saturday afternoon as the Norse made the short trip north to Dayton, Ohio to meet arch rival Wright State inside the C.J. McLin Gymnasium.

MATCH NOTES
- Leading the Norse offensively today was freshman
Ava Hoying who turned in a career-high 15 kills against the Raiders. Hoying provided a .343 attack percentage on 35 swings during the contest and added six digs and one assist to her stat sheet as well.

Anna Burke anchored the Norse ground defensive game with 27 digs against WSU today. Burke has now totaled 20 or more digs in a match five times during the 2023 season. Burke has also accumulated 1,401 digs throughout her Norse career, which sees her rank seventh all-time in Northern Kentucky Volleyball history.

Joy Banks added 17 digs to the Norse effort this afternoon along with nine kills, one service ace and two blocks.

Torie Houston guided the NKU offensive attack with 27 assists against Wright State.
Katy Yopko chipped in 16 assists and added 10 digs to her stat line to record her third5 double-double of the season and her 14th of ther Norse career.

Northern Kentucky volleyball will wrap up their four-week road trip with another Horizon League mach up as the Norse will head to Moon Township, Penn. to take on Robert Morris on Tuesday, September 26.
