HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. – The Northern Kentucky volleyball program made a statement in their first home match in a month as NKU returned to Regents Hall to defeat the Vikings of Cleveland State in four sets Friday evening.

MATCH NOTES
- The Norse were anchored offensively by junior
Joy Banks as she went on to record yet another double-double in the home win, with 13 kills and 12 digs. This was Banks' sixth double-double of the season as well.
- Senior
Skyy Smith locked down 10 kills for the Norse as well with an incredible attack percentage of .471. Smith led the Northern Kentucky defense as well with 5.0 total blocks this evening, two of which were solo blocks.

Anna Burke secured herself a double-double as well tonight, as the Norse libero posted 20 digs along with 10 assists in the victory over the Vikings. This was Burke's first double-double of her career, with a career-high in assists. The graduate senior went on to total two service aces also.

Northern Kentucky volleyball remains in Highland Heights through the weekend as the Norse will host the Golden Grizzlies of Oakland tomorrow, Saturday, September 30. First serve between NKU and Oakland is scheduled for 4 p.m. (ET) inside Regents Hall and will be broadcasted on ESPN+.
