ATHENS, Ohio – The Northern Kentucky women's soccer program, behind another historic performance from senior goalkeeper
Mickayla Kowalski, battled Ohio to a 0-0 draw in a non-conference clash at Chessa Field on Sunday afternoon.

- Kowalski had another day for the record books as the Harrison, Ohio native posted a career-best 12 saves in the draw. The performance ranks her second all-time in school history for most saves in a single match. Over her last three contests, Kowalski has posted three straight clean sheets and 21 saves overall. She has also racked up a scoreless streak of over 293 minutes of action.
- The Norse took six shots overall in the match and put three of them on target.
Megan Molner (two shots) and
Sophia Kapszukiewicz (one shot) both finished with attempts on frame for NKU.
- Northern Kentucky and Ohio have now met five times since 2018. The two sides have split the all-time series with a 2-2-1 record against one another.
- NKU has also continued its strong play of late, as the Norse improved to 1-0-2 over their past three matches.
