HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. – The Northern Kentucky men's basketball program continued its latest winning streak as the Norse knocked off Horizon League foe Green Bay, 74-52 inside Truist Arena on Saturday night for their third straight victory.
The game was even more special as legendary coach Ken Shields was honored with a halftime ceremony where his name was raised to the rafters.

Marques Warrick led the way with 21 points to go with three rebounds and three assists. The Lexington, Kentucky native is up to 1,972 career points. He is just nine points from moving into sole possession of third all-time in school history, 36 points from claiming second overall for himself and 95 points from taking over the program record.

LJ Wells had another strong game with 15 points, three boards, two steals and a helper. The sophomore forward has now averaged 14.8 points, 7.8 rebounds and 2.8 swipes over his last four contests.

Keeyan Itejere added 13 points, six boards and a game-best three blocks. The transfer center has posted three straight games with 13-plus points and five-plus rebounds.

Michael Bradley chipped in 10 points, three assists, three boards and two steals. It was his second consecutive game with double-figures in scoring.

Randall Pettus II (five),
Jeramiah Israel (three) and
Cade Meyer (two) also scored for NKU.
- The Norse led wire-to-wire in this one. NKU won the first half by a 33-25 margin and cruised to the victory with a 41-27 edge in the final 20 minutes to close out the 74-52 win.
- Northern Kentucky had just five turnovers as a team in 40 minutes of action.
