HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. — Northern Kentucky women's soccer dominated from start to finish on Thursday night, as the Norse moved to 3-1-1 in Horizon League play with a 1-0 victory over Purdue Fort Wayne.
The Norse are tied for third in the league following Thursday's results.

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
- Northern Kentucky dominated the match defensively, limiting Purdue Fort Wayne to just two total shots and only one shot on target. Both of the Mastadons' shots came in the 89th minute of the match.
- NKU pelted PFW with shots, holding a 16-2 advantage in total shots and an 8-1 advantage in shots on goal.
- Caitlin Evans played all 90 minutes and led the Norse with a pair of shots on goal.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Northern Kentucky dominated the first half, holding an 8-0 advantage in shots at halftime. The lone goal of the match came in the 29th minute, as Purdue Fort Wayne put the ball in its own net after a dangerous chance from Megan Molner.
- NKU continued to play in the attacking third throughout the match, and held PFW off the board for the full 90 minutes to pick up the win.
