YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio — Northern Kentucky women's soccer continued its late season hot streak on Saturday with arguably the best performance of the season, as the Norse dominated Youngstown State on the road.
The Norse scored a pair of goals in each half and held YSU to just one shot on goal in a 4-0 shutout victory, marking their fifth straight win. With a Detroit Mercy loss or draw, NKU will clinch at least the two seed in the Horizon League Tournament.

- Northern Kentucky dominated the match in every facet, recording 24 total shots with 13 on goal to YSU's seven total shots and one on goal.
- Kylie Anderson had an amazing day for the Norse, scoring a pair of goals with the opener in the 23rd minute and the third NKU goal in the 57th.
- Lilly Yordy had a four point day of her own, scoring a goal in the 30th minute (her sixth of the season) and assisting on both Kylie Anderson goals.
- Lydia Self provided the dagger for NKU with a penalty kick goal in the 83rd minute.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- NKU struck quickly in the first half, scoring two goals in eight minutes with Anderson's 23rd minute goal and Yordy's 30th minute goal.
- The Norse scored two more in the second half to take home a fifth straight win.
