PEORIA, Ill. – Northern Kentucky Norse Women's Basketball rounded out a three-game road trip on Wednesday, taking on Bradley in Peoria. The Norse got off to a hot start but were overpowered by the Braves' defense down the stretch, resulting in a five-point loss for the Norse.

Halle Idowu led the Norse in scoring, pouring in 16 points on 8-15 shooting from the field. She added five rebounds, two assists, and a steal.

Jaci Jones scored ten points on three threes, as she hit the game's first two shots for the Norse. Jones also recorded a season-high three steals and recorded three assists.

Kamora Morgan started her first game as a Norse after an excellent performance on Saturday. She finished with seven points, going 5-6 from the free throw line.
NORSE NOTES
- Northern Kentucky came out storming hot in the first quarter, taking a 13-point lead early. The Norse defense forced the Braves into 7 turnovers in the first period, as they led 19-8 at the first quarter break.
- The Norse had a rough shooting stretch over the next 20, going 9-33 in the second and third quarters combined. This led to the Braves cutting the lead to two entering the fourth, as the Norse needed to get things going against the tough Bradley defense.
- Despite the Norse shooting 7-13 in the fourth, Bradley managed to pull away by getting to the line and converting 10 of their 12 free throw attempts. NKU had a chance to tie things with a three, but a late shot clock violation sealed the game for the Braves.
