HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. — Northern Kentucky Athletics will host the Norse's annual Teddy Bear Toss and Toy Donation Drive, presented by Meijer, at NKU men's basketball's clash with South Carolina State on Saturday, December 21 inside Truist Arena.
All donations will benefit the local Toys for Tots chapter that works in both Northern Kentucky and Cincinnati, and NKU is excited to partner with the chapter to make the holiday season brighter for those in need.
Fans who bring a new teddy bear or stuffed animal for the donation drive/toss will receive a ticket voucher at the door for any regular season NKU game for the rest of the season. Fans and supporters will also have a chance to win exclusive prizes during the toss as well.
Free admission vouchers for a future game will be handed out to fans when they enter Truist Arena, and the Teddy Bear Toss will take place following the conclusion of the game, as halftime will feature Queen City Korfball!
All collections from the toss and toy drive will benefit the local Toys for Tots chapter.
The Cincinnati-area Toys for Tots organization distributes thousands of toys to area families throughout the Tri-State. This year, the Marine Corps Reserve will collaborate with the Salvation Army for the toy collection and distribution campaign. These two organizations have over 200 years of history serving children in need.
