CINCINNATI – The Northern Kentucky baseball program found itself on the wrong side of a 10-2 decision to crosstown rival Cincinnati inside the UC Baseball Stadium on Tuesday afternoon.

- Seven different Norse student-athletes collected hits in the contest.
- The offense was led by
Logen Devenport as he went 1-for-4 at the dish with a home run, two RBI and a run scored. It was the first career homer for the two-way standout.

Liam McFadden-Ackman (1-for-3, walk),
Jake Paulick (1-for-3),
Jake Altman (1-for-4),
Cleary Simpson (1-for-4) and
Zack Minton (1-for-1) all posted a hit for NKU.
- Paulick also scored a run for the Norse.

Nick McClanahan recorded a scoreless inning on the mound.

Jake Johnson also notched a scoreless frame in the contest.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- UC jumped out to a 3-0 lead with a run in the bottom of the first, second and fourth.
- Northern Kentucky punched back as Devenport left the yard with a two-run blast to make it a 3-2 game.
- The Bearcats then pulled away with three runs in the bottom of the fifth and six and another in the seventh to close out the 10-2 victory.
