HOW IT HAPPENED
- Northern Kentucky got on the board first in the bottom of the third as Rowe sent a solo shot over the left-center field wall to make it a 1-0 game.
- Milwaukee answered right back with a three-run blast of its own in the top of the fourth to jump ahead by a 3-1 margin.
- The Norse tied the game in the bottom half of the fifth as Paulick was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded and Devenport reached on a fielder's choice that plated McFadden-Ackman to knot things up at 3-3.
- It was all Northern Kentucky from that point on with one run in the bottom of the seventh and five runs in the eighth to seal the 9-3 victory.
